Our Professional Parents are full time employees of Real Life Children’s Ranch who care for children that come from heartbreaking backgrounds. Through the love and support of our Professional Parents, many of our children have risen above their tragic past to a fulfilling and productive life.

Professional Parents at Real Life Children’s Ranch must:

Agree with and support the mission of Real Life Children’s Ranch as we work to build hope and character in children.

Have a sincere love for children including a genuine desire to guide and support them through both difficult and happy times.

Model Christian principles before children and others such as honesty, patience, self-control and compassion.

Be able to love a child placed at the Ranch regardless of how long the child will be here (months or years).

Be able to love a child regardless of whether the child expresses that love back.

Pass all background and criminal record checks.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Have good organizational skills and basic computer skills.
